Hey everyone,

My 88 Burb is a combination off-road exploration and camping rig. And daily driver. When I camp, I put a camping mattress down and sleep in the truck. This is great-ish, except for getting in and out. The rear doors are not easy to open from the inside at all. I'd like to install some handles that I can just push on or turn. Has anybody seen a solution to that, or have a better idea? Closing them from the inside is a pain too, but I have some ideas for that.

Thanks for any feedback!

Iirc, when you push the button on the outside handle, it pushed directly on a steel lever. You could possibly rig up a pull knob on the inside, to pull on that same steel lever.

Hey @bucket, thanks for the suggestion. A pull knob might just work. I'm going to be tearing the panels off anyway, perhaps then I can figure out the best way to mount it...
