I bought a 1988 v10 suburban a couple months ago and had this problem before and with a simple fuse it was fixed… Now it’s happened again and can’t find the problem. And it’s not the fuse. I was wondering if any yall can help cause I hope to Dailey drive to school and will definitely need a fuel gauge

Lots of things that could go wrong with fuel gauge. If your grounds on the frame and wiring/circuit board leading to the gauge, check the resistor on the back of the gauge itself. If it has the right amount of resistance, it’s probably a bad guage or a bad in-tank sending unit.
