Thought this might be a neat idea for a thread, post up pics of any projects you tackle in a day or two, doesn't really matter the subject matter of said project.
Having my "long term project" (the 79), I find it fun to be able to see something go from nothing to done, or almost done in a short time frame.
This was todays project, building a cart for my new (to me) Kennedy roller to replace my 3 drawer unit at work.
Picked the box up on marketplace with a MC28 riser and some miscellaneous tooling from a retiring Boeing employee.
Used some scrap 1.25 and 1" tubing to build the frame of it.
some salvaged 1" sq tube worked perfectly to make of the difference in height between the box and locker, and worked to make up for the difference in depth of the two (20 vs 22 inches).
Added some tabs to keep the Kennedy from sliding around. Going to pick up a butcher block top for it and get the locker painted to roughly match the Kennedy wrinkle brown

Cannibalized my old welding cart, which I drug home from work that was retired from being the collet cart (after one of the drawers dropped all of its ball bearings and dropped drawer of 5C collets on the ground)
