My truck started to drip a bit of oil.... found that it was leaking from.. what seems to be an oil sender of some sort right above the Oil Filter, that screws into the block.

I've already had to cap off the one I had right next to the distributor which I replaced with a new one, and it started leaking too, after a week (my oil gauge doesn't work anyway), I'll post a pick of the one I took out, which I thought was the oil sender.

What is the one that's above my Oil Filter Housing?? If I unplug it.. the "Check Engine" light comes on.. and goes off when I plug it back in... weird? I need to replace it, and dont really know exactly what to get.
