Not getting full turn to stops with 10 bolt front

Just got done rebuilding everything in the front of my 86 K20, didn't really pay attention before, but noticed that now I am not able to turn full right or full left to the axle stop bolt. Started with wheels straight since didn't mess with the tie rods, centered the new steering box, then adjusted the new drag links to the same length of the old ones and put together. Without the steering box connected, can turn wheels full left/right, what am I adjusting wrong/missing on setting this up proper?

do you have a lift kit? do you have the correct steering arm? highdesertranger

Well, that's where it gets confusing. It has an 8" skyjacker as far as I can tell, looking at the steering arm I'm not totally sure it's stock or not. I was reading up on 8" lift, seems they recommend installing a control arm like this...

and then installing this offset drag link assembly for 4" lift for a combo of 4" each to get steering back to where it should be left to right.

I may not have realized it before because both upper ball joints were shot giving me fake turning radius. Trying to find what the distance from the top of the steering arm where the 3 studs go through to the top of the arm at the drag link would be to find out what I may have in mine.

For that much lift you will need both items. The stock steering arm is pretty flat. You definitely can tell the difference between the two. If it does not have it, you may also need drop down brackets for the front of the sway bar.
