Hmmm. Super nice truck but I question the 1600 miles. Also all that black underneath makes me go hmmm. Can't tell if it's undercoating or spray paint but it's odd how it's applied and what is or isn't covered. Would love to see it in person though

I think it's undercoating. Overspray on muffler, driveshaft and rear axle. But the interior looks like new, and so do the GM keys on the dealership keychain. Apparently they gave him a second set of GM blanks that were not cut, and a spare set of keys were made on Ilco blanks. Ilco is one of the aftermarket suppliers of automotive hardware. Key machine we had at the parts store was from Curtis, but Ilco may have bought them out since then. Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires also fit the OEM era, both our shop trucks came with those (78 & 81 GMC C15's).
Anyone who gets it is basically getting a brand new truck...with 40 year old rubber under the hood. I would change that stuff....

I think you're right. I looked at it alot closer this morning and saw nothing that would really make me question the odo, the numbers perfectly line up too. I think the underhood pad and the exhaust from the cat back were recently replaced and then the undercoating applied. I think that was a mistake or I at least would've asked for a better job to be done. But that's just me.

You can tell by the overspray on the eyelets of the leaf springs and the large area missed on the axle tube of the rear end that it's aftermarket paint/undercoat. Doesn't take away that it's a nice truck but would definitely wanna see it in person, like you said, to ensure that it's not trying to cover up an issue(s).

Thats a nice truck. Will watch the price.

Am considering buying an old very low millage vehicle like that or something similar as my next driver. Will probably be cheaper too. These new POS vehicles with endless problems don't inspire confidence.
