I’ve been a gear head since I can remember, and have owned a few muscle and 30s era cars over the years. Sold my last one, a 37 Dodge D5 coupe a couple years ago and decided that was it.

Last year I got the bug again and thought “what could I get that the novelty won’t wear off of”?

Well I need a truck. I have a newish truck, 2017 Ram. My wife needs a new rig. So I did the right thing. Traded my Ram in on an SUV for her, and got myself an 84 Silverado. K10, 350 with 700R4. Bought it off an old guy who built it to plow his driveway with, but decided it was too nice for that. Picked it up and basically been trying to turn it into a dependable daily driver for years to come. Biggest upgrade to date is a Holley sniper setup. It’s about 90% installed. Waiting on an adapter plate to mate it to the spreadbore intake. Tired of messing with the quadrajet, and the idle mixture screws are seized SOLID!!!

Truck is very solid with lots of new body panels, and the floors are like new. Old guy did a great job on it. I’ve rustchecked the crap out of it to try and preserve the thing best I can. Lots of snow and salt unfortunately here in western Newfoundland wher I live. I’ll undercoat it every year like I do with all our rigs.

I’ve posted a few questions here already and have gotten great help when needed. Much appreciated. More to follow I’m sure lol.

@codfish That's a great combination in my opinion 350 w/700R4, my C20 is 305 W/700R4 when the 305 is done it'll get a 350. I'm not much a fan of aftermarket EFI systems but that is just me. If you do as you plan I know you'll get many years of service out of that truck and it'll be so much more fun than that Ram could ever hope to be!
