Howdy all. I live in Fredericksburg, VA. I am new to the site but not the trucks. I have had my 1983 K10 for about 15 years. I put it out to pasture about 7 years ago due to chasing Harleys and Hot Rods. I have just pulled it up out of the back and started a make over on it. I built a rockin' little 350 stroker for it a few years back and am freshening it up now. I just took the front diff out last week and am replacing every possible part in it. All the parts arrived this week. I am putting 4:56 gears in it to match the rear gears. My truck needs some work on different parts, but overall is in relatively good shape. I have been using your site for a few weeks to get caught up on what's new in the K10 world. I want to do a 4" lift and I am torn between lift kits or flip kits right now, any advice? I will ping you guys as I continue the rebuild and I will start a gallery to document my progress. Fell free to give advice because I believe you CAN teach an old dog new tricks!!
