Hello,

I picked up a 86 C30 3+3 long bed dually this past week. I needed a truck around the farm and something to haul my 8 kids around in when we go camping. The body is good for the most part. The Bed sides are tilted out about a half to 3/4 inch so I assume that is why there was no tailgate. If you have a fix better than a nudge from a tractor let me know. The brakes are a wreck Calipers and master cylinder so far. I am half way though them. 100 temps are not helping out. The vent /wing windows need new frames. The back sliding glass needs weather stripping but what doesn't on this truck.

Maybe use a ratchet strap to pull the sides together, pull past perfect a little and see where it rests?

She is a beautiful thing. I think I will need all eight kids just to give her a bath. After I get her to stop as well as go. I will need all new tires Think a couple are retreads the others have more cracks than my wife's phone. Here are the tire sizes LT245/75 16 and 265/70 16 on front. The rear has a mix of LT235/85 16 and LT225/75 16 I am not too sure if all 6 tires ever touch the road at the same time. They probably just threw on what they had laying around the farm. I have been there before.
