My son’s f-150 was totaled early last week when an 82 year old man ran a red light and broadsided him. Luckily no one was injured. I was searching Craigslist for a replacement and came across this 1993 S-10 with 127,000 on the clock. Then I noticed the background in the pictures, it was a friend’s driveway so I gave him a call and we went to take a look. Took a test drive and negotiated a price and it was on its way to a new home. This was Sunday and it was a long weekend so my son was antsy because he could not drive it until we got the plates done on Tuesday morning. The s-10 is a 4.3 auto with a 2in drop in the front and 3 in in the back. Custom caddy tail lights, flipped tailgate handle, euro lights in the front and amazingly clean inside. The more I look at it the more mods I find.

Hubcaps on the original stock wheels but that will change soon. I have a set of Z28 rims that may go on it or he is going to buy a set of wheels.

Thanks
Guys.

Definitely needs new wheels but that thing is CLEAN!!! I love the 82-93 s-10's. Makes me miss my '93 :sad72: I would be the previous owner used to have rims on it but sold them separate. A person doesn't mod to that extent and roll on the rims/tires pictured :D Your son should be very happy now :)

I agree, I have a set of Camaro rims like below that I smoothed and polished a long time ago for my daughter’s Blazer. We tried them this weekend but no go because the tie rod end hit the tire because is so low. Can't space the wheels out because they would be outside the fender and look like crap. He is now looking for a set of rims and he just ordered a sound system for it. He was sweating bullets when I was jacking up the truck to try the rims.

Mom bought him the F-150 because she was tired of taking him to and from work. I was negotiating a deal on a 79 C-10 longbed that was out of town but had to work a few weekends straight and couldn’t get together with the seller and she got tired of waiting.

It must have drop spindles on it then? I know those wheels fit (on a stock truck), but you can't run wheel weights on the lip because there's not enough clearance.

In '93-'94 GM ran those wheels on the Blazers, but they had about 1/2 in less backspacing. They were the ones that used the smooth 5 spoke center caps (and those caps were later used again on the last design ZQ8 wheels).

Yes it has drop spindles on it plus drop springs. I had a set of brand new ZQ8 wheels at one time but got tired of tripping over them and sold them. I whish I would have kept them.
