Hello all,

New member from SE Texas here. I have 2 ‘78 square bodies. One is a C20 that we’ll be fixing up for my 16 y/o. It has the original 454 in it along with a TH400. We have a replacement cab for it from an ‘83 model along with fenders and a hood from a’74 model. The bed has already been replaced. The goal is to get it running strong and make the interior nice, but leave the exterior rough looking except for the wheels.

The other is a C10 Big 10. It has a rebuilt 454 and TH350 in it. It’s an older restoration in good condition. After my son’s truck is done, I’ll start addressing this one.

Thank y’all for the welcome. I’ve been looking around at members’ trucks. When you’re being bombarded with slammed trucks riding on ugly oversized wheels on all forms of media, it’s nice to see old trucks that can actually haul stuff. I think that I may be in the right place.
