Just picked up a '76 C-10 Long Bed.
I'll be looking to pick your brains for information but hopefully I won't be asking all the stupid newbie questions. The truck was originally from Georgia and had been brought to Ontario where it had a frame off restoration. You would never know it was worth $20K back in 2006 since the previous owner decided to drive it in the winter "a few times" and park it on his lawn covered in snow! Anyway it's in my garage now and my plans are to drive it for a year or two and them tare it down to the frame and put a short box on it. I still have my customized '48 Chevy 1/2 ton, with a 1995 Corvette LT1 to drive but that will need to go to finance the C-10.
