Does anybody know a company that makes a 2.5" Duel exhaust system kit for a 79 K30 454 Long bed pick up??
Thanks

I'm using the 2.5 universal rod builder kit from summit it was only like $220 or so, there's enough stuff in the box to run all the way out the back on my 454 c20 burb on both sides. It's not a direct fit though, I'm welding and cutting it up to fit as needed.

I’m not aware of any off-the-shelf 2 1/2” dual exhaust system for a K series (4WD) squarebody truck. All of them only fit 2WD trucks. I assume that is because it’s hard to fit around the transfer case crossmember. I know it was hard to fit a 2 1/4” dual exhaust system on my K25.

This picture shows the area above the transfer case cross-member on the passenger side of my '75 GMC that makes it hard to fit an exhaust pipe. This truck has a TH350 and NP203 transfer case.

The downpipe for my Flotech exhaust might have worked better if it angled a little closer to the floorboard, but then there would have been more heat into the cab. I was able to get it all bolted in place and keep it about an inch away from the crossmember and the transfer case. I believe they design this system with a two part header pipe (you can see the clamp) so that you can rotate the 2nd pipe section and get the angles you need to drop down after you go past the transfer case.

Most of these trucks originally had single exhaust and the single pipe was routed on the driver's side where there is way more space above the crossmember.

Flowmaster Super 40 #952547 They have a 5" thick case vs the standard 4". Gives a little deeper tone. Here what it sounds like with my crappy phone video. All stock 454 with all the smog equipment (no cats).

Had my adopted nephew build mine to connect with my block hugger headers.
I machined a couple Studebaker 2bbl intake manifolds to 4bbl and turned a
new choke slide metering rod for one of the carbs on his Jaguar project..
