Need ideas for painting stepside

Hi all , looking for ideas for painting my 76/85 k1500 gmc stepside . I like the 2 tone on the fleetside I'm just not sure how it looks on the stepside trucks . I'm open to ideas or even better if you have pictures please share

Is it a 1976 body? If so, you could do this. You could get them like this in '76.

I like to use Google images to find pictures of things like that. Most examples of two-tone/striped stepside paint schemes will have a very "70's custom" look (which I'm hoping would would come back in style).

I've been thinking about a Chevy Sport inspired scheme, gold with black lower area. With the appropriate striping of course.

I don't think two-tone would look right on a stepside, some graphics or decals like the one above looks decent. I have a 86 stepside, that needs paint, but I like the original color Indian bronze metallic. If I have mine painted I'm staying with the original color.
