Need help identifying AC Delco Trans + few car transaxles

So I have this next to a picture of a 4l80e, and its different. But i also checked a th350, and it looks vastly different.
I tried a few more common 2wd trans, but I cant find a match



This is soley if you guys can help, im trying to find some of these transmissions. I think one is a 4t60. But the 4t-60e is a different beast used in many cars. Any help appreciated, but main focus is the top transmission.

I may have the opportunity to buy it and/or a 4l80e for CHEAP

The top pic is definitely a 4L60, the round servo cover is a clear giveaway. I can see the shipping cap plugging the hole for the TV cable, so it’s not a 4L60 E

the other pics are 4T60 Transmission’s, pretty common in front wheel drive GM cars.

The last pic appears to be a fwd Chrysler 604 trans

The top one looks like a 700R4, but the bell housing pattern looks different than what I'm used to seeing. There should be numbers in the case on the passenger side that will help you identify it better. If I had an auto 2wd(both are 2wd i THINK) or just whatever it comes out to be, is a 700r4 and 4l80e hard to swap into a square? from prob a th350 or th400 starting point

First one looks kind of like a BOP pattern 700R4

700R4 swap from a TH350 2wd is easy... it's still mechanically controlled. 4L80e is electronically controlled and will need a controller of some kind. 700R4 will NEED a cooler to keep from blowing up eventually. TH400 or 4L80e are much stronger and share a base platform and form factor(output splines, some internal components). TH350 and 700R4 are similar form factors and output spline count to each other. The 4L80e and 700R4 are longer than their TH400 and TH350 counterparts.

The first one is a 700r4 aka 4L60, and it has the 60* V6 bellhousing. It would most commonly be used in an S10 or an F-body. But other engines used that bellhousing too, like a fwd style Buick 3.3 and 3.8, as well as the 2.5 Iron Duke, and also the 2.0/2.2 Chevy 4 cylinders.

I didn’t look at the bellhousing, it’s a 60* 2.8/3.1 engine bolt pattern.

Wow you guys are good. Makes sense, same auction has 3.1 goodwrench crate engine. Dont know what you would use it for.. the entire idea: revolting

I actually was able to identify a trans that i didnt post yet because googling a case # actually got me something. sm420. cool lol

The first transmission is a 700r4 for a v6 in a 3rd gen Camaro. The tailshaft housing is the giveaway. Camaros used a 3 point rear suspension using the tailshaft housing.

The tail housing was sometimes found in other vehicles too, they just didn't use those bolt holes or sometimes there was a damper mounted up to them. Iirc, 4 cylinder Astro vans had the damper.
