Need a dimmer rod for my tilt column

Need a dimmer rod "GM# 7844199" for my tilt column. Should be the same for 85 to 87 GM fullsize trucks and 85 to 91 Suburban and Blazers with tilt columns. Some one has to have an old tilt column hanging around, been having a hard time finding this simple part. Any help would be great!

Just about any 1980s-1990s GM column will use the same one. I used the one from the Cadillac column I tore apart for my tilt/telescopic mod. I'll have a look in my junk, may have an extra.

I checked the part numbers from different GM trucks and cars from about a 10 year span and only the 85 to 87 GM fullsize trucks and 85 to 91 Suburban and Blazers with tilt columns are the same. 84 and back is a different GM part number. If you can confirm yours is the same then it good for me, Lmk..

Its the rod that goes from the signal arm on the top of the column to the high beam switch at the bottom of the column. GM calls is a dimmer rod.

I'll look in my steering column items, I may have one of them also. I can't remember which one I sent to 89 Suburban, for his ride.

I know I have one I just got to dig one out of a column, I have a couple in the man cave. I'll try to do that over the weekend unless these other guys find one for ya first.
