I don't quite understand how you bent your rotor or how that has anything to do with your hub but good for you for getting it fixed. highdesertranger

Well the rotor and spindle are one, I bent the spindle is what I'm saying. The little nose cone on the hub.

If it's not been said yet, Pretty sure 1980 as with many 1 onlys in that year, they are Spicer Hub locks if they have not been changed out.

I just skimmed the thread and didn't read it all BTW.

Not to derail here..... but my hub wont lock either... oh wait, ive got a 2wd! Lol sorry i hadta. :rolleyes:

I think she means the rotor and hub are one, (actually they are connected with the studs) not the spindle. If she warped the hub the lockouts won't function correctly.

I forgot to reply and take pics, but I fixed the issue. She works great in 4wd now. The 4wd components could not move freely so they couldn't engage. I got the new rotor on and problem solved.
