My first truck was a 2WD 1976 Jimmy, 350 with auto. My first 4WD truck and first new vehicle was this 1987 "Power Ram" 150. 1987 was the last year of the Slant 6, and to meet emissions it had a 1 barrel and an anemic 90hp. The only options on it were a sliding rear window and a limited slip rear diff, not even a radio. 4 speed, with the shift on the fly transfer case. It was slow, but it would climb any hill and would pull a fully loaded Suburban out of the mud. I remember it being simpler and easier to work on. I relocated the breathers for the diffs, installed skid plates, steering stabilizer, and an axle truss. Loved that truck! My K10 Custom Deluxe is basically a Chevy version of the same truck with a V8. I do have limited slip in the rear, but no sliding rear window, and not even a dome light! There are plastic plugs in the holes in the door jamb where the switches would go, the under dash light isn't as useful. Anyone elses truck not have a dome light? I assume it was part of a convenience package on Custom and Custom Deluxe models.

Years ago I thought it was ridiculous for someone to buy a 2wd blazer or jimmy. I'm like @Big Chip and would love to have one.
