Yesterday i had a sticky caliper on the left hand side so i decided to put new calipers, pads, and flexible lines.(Fixed the sticky caliper) Hoping this would fix the mushy brake pedal to but it didn't what causes this problem and how can it be fixed.

Already bleed the brakes front and back.

The brake light also comes on sometimes especially under hard braking

Vacuum System

Any help Would be great. Thanks

Either the master cylinder is going out or there's still more air in the system would be my first two guesses...

Took me forever to bleed the brakes when I redid most if not all the hydraulics.

I'm going with there is still air in the lines.

Do you bleed the brakes in proper rotation? Alwasy starting with the wheel furthest from the Master Cylinder?

Start with Right Rear, #2 Left Rear, #3 Right Front, and end on Left Front.

Get a good bleed on the system and take it from there. It's not the power booster or you'd have a very hard pedal. If you had sticky brake calipers, air was probably sucked into the system.

Wouldn't the left rear technically be the furthest from the master cylinder? The brake line runs down the passenger side and the T is on the passenger side of the axle pumpkin, and then runs over to the driver side rear wheel, technically making it the furthest away.

That should have actually given you a low pedal too.

Could be that since the pedal was going so far down, the additional travel was being read as mushiness??

And the pedal going down so far also explains the Wooosh sound he described which is normal for far pedal travel. Now it all makes sense.

This is what makes it tough to help out sometimes on forums. You can only get help based on the written description of the problem and why details certainly matter.

Yeah it is kinda hard to explain some stuff in words but yes it gave me a low pedal I guess that's what I was feeling the whole time
