LS Swap Engine crossmember clearance issues

I swapped an LS 5.3 into my GM K10 4x4 and as you can see it’s pretty much sitting on the crossmember..Anyone have any suggestions how to raise the engine or modify the crossmember

What motor mounts did you use? I used a set of adjustable mounts from a company called dirty dingo,and had no frame clearance issues on my v2500 5.3 swap.

Hmmm, same as me. I used energy Suspension engine mount inserts. Maby take another look at the trans mount and or trans cross member height/location.
Although my engine seems further forward. I used a 4L60 trans with cross member in stock location and factory length drive shafts.

I should have added this info ..I’m running 4l60e / NP241C in my stock location of transmission crossmember ..Maybe I need spacers between transmission crossmember and frame ? Lower it might lift the front?

I would think you can space the trans cross member down just enough for the front to clear 1/2" - 3/4" is probably ok, don't know if you're Lifted or not but at stock ride height you're angels should be fine.
I can't recall if i spaced mine or not, I'll look when I get home.

More info I should have included such a Noob ..6” lift 33” tires ..I apologize for lack of info I’m providing and making you guys guess

I still believe you'll be fine spacing the cross member down but like with any lift your gonna want check drive line angles anyway. I used this helpful app if you haven't checked your angles yet.

Can you move the engine back towards the firewall any further? Comparing your pictures to @R Carnella picture his engine sits further back with oil pan behind the crossmember.

It would probably be easier to slot the transmission crossmember holes a little or drill new ones than to lower it IMO. Also the extra little space should help with fan and accessory clearance to the radiator.

Mine was almost touching as well. When I did my swap, somehow the vent hose for the front axle ended up between the block and crossmember. I ran it that way with no issues. Of course I ran another vent line.

After that one locked up, and I swapped in another, I forgot to put a hose between it. I'm not having any issues, but if I had to do it again I would have notched the crossmember a little.
