Can an 8' Fleetside long bed be turned into an 8' dually bed, or is there a distinct difference?

The factory butchered the beds to add the hump. Yes, it can be done & should be "cleaner" than the General spit them out.

Thanks, I'll check into finding some dually fenders. I have an 86 C30 dually the someone put a flatbed on it and I'd like to have a standard dually bed. I can get a Fleetside bed and a good price. I haven't been able to find the stock dually bed.

What is the wheelbase on your truck? Or, do you have a picture of the rear axle? If it's a cab&chassis truck, the frame is a little longer than a regular dually pickup and the axle is narrower than a regular dually pickup.

It's the 131.5 wheel base truck.

Here's what a dually bedside looks like underneath, he's a member here but can't remember his name off hand. If you look close, the inside of the wheel well is an insert that wraps around to the first set of bolts on the outer side. It can certainly be done
