Anyone have experience with the LMC 3” block lift kit?

I’ve got a 1980 c20 and have seen limited options.

I’ve seen you can swap out spindles and get 88-98 spindles, rotors, etc. Not sure if you can retain 8 lug wheels going this rout.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Here's my old '80 C20 3+3 from 1995. I was running 33x12.50x16.5" tires and 16.5" x 9.75" wheels. I ran Air Lift air bags in the front coils (it had a 454, so I was already running BBC springs). It gave about 2" of lift. In the rear was a 2" block. I only had to trim the front fenders a little.

The LMC kit will probably not work for you as the U-bolts on a C20 3+3 are rectangular like a 1-ton, not U shaped (photo #3). You would have to buy a new spring plate for a regular cab C20 to make the rounded U bolts work. FYI in photo #3 that's a 3" block on my current K30. I bought the blocks from a 4 Wheel Parts and had a local spring shop make the U-bolts when I rebuilt the rear springs.

Thanks Craig. Good looking truck!

So it’s a possibility if I have a shop make the u- bolts, swap out the spring plate or go air bag route.

Trying to stay 3”, no more than 4” lift, so probably passing on the air bag route.

Thanks for your feedback.
