I have a K10 but put on a gm14 bolt and Dana 60 in front. In doing that, the leafs that are on it are huge. Probably 1-ton but I can't find any info. The leafs have 8 in each one in the rear. The clamps is on 5th one down. I'm assuming the previous owner did add a leafs but I don't know. The clamps are shot and missing center bolt. I got new ones but I don't know if I should clamp on 5th one from too or 7th. Any advice?
Thank you in advance.

Do you have 52" or 56" springs? My K15 had 6 leaves and were 52". I don't have photos of where the clamp was. My K30 has 9 leaves, plus the overload and are 56" long. Clamp is on the 6th spring.

I appreciate the info. Seems we both have 2-3 leafs unclamped. Your bottom ones are nice and tight. My bottom unclamped ones are fanned out and separated quite a bit.

Is there a bunch of rust buildup in the leaves? That can make them sort of fan out and look odd.
