Has anyone in here put shoulder belts into an early Square that had only lap belts from the factory... I'm curious to know if it's a bolt in or if there's more to it than that.

Thinking this would be a nice and worthy upgrade for the ol' girl so I don't end up smashing my face into the steering wheel should the unthinkable happen.

Is there a hole with a plug in it, up in the pillar?

Just pulled the trim off and yup... Let me guess... there's mounting nut behind it?

Sometimes. If not, I think you can fish a nut up in there an give it a couple good tacks with a good welder. The stiffener plate is hopefully there even if the nut isn't.

Thanks! I finally got in there and pulled the trim piece all the way out. Plug twisted out easily enough and behold... A mounting nut for the shoulder harness.

Now I just have to decide if I want to drill holes in my existing trim or buy new trim pieces...
