L98 c4 corvette engine into 1976 k20

So my stock engine in my truck is pretty much done for. Its burning a lot of oil out of the passenger side bank. I also have a 1985 c4 corvette with the l98 engine. I'm in the process of ls swapping the vette and want to put the l98 engine in my truck. I want to keep my full serpentine belt system. I will pull the tip intake and swap to a carbed intake and I'll pull the electronic controlled distributor and add the vacuum adjusted truck one. My main question is aside from adding a fuel pump and regulator what else should I need for the swap. The engine already has the smog pump eliminated my main concern is my radiator fan. I believe the corvette water pump is reverse rotation. I dont really want to spend the money on an electric fan kit. Is there anyway to put the truck mechanical fan or entire pump on the vette or is it possible to remove all the brackets and switch to a v belt pulley system on the l98 or do I absolutely have to buy electric fans. I'd prefer the serpentine belt with a mechanical fan. Any other info on the swap would be greatly appreciated aswell.

You can just use a fan from a later truck with a serpentine belt. Those pumps are reverse rotation as well.

I guess I should have also said the years to look for. If a square body truck, it would be '89-'91 K5, Suburban or Crew Cab. It's '88-'95 for the new style trucks. Starting in '96, the fan clutch went to the modern screw-on type. Also similar year 4.3 equipped S10's and Astros may work, as well as Caprices, Roadmasters, etc. You just have to make sure the overall diameter is close to what you need.

Hi. Anyone know if this came threw to fruition? I have a 85 Corvette C4 l98 that I really want to put in my 86 K10. Wondering if it's a great swap or not and what all has to change of the engine.

I had one in an '84 K20, that was my daily driver for about 10 years. It was great. Plenty of power and decent mileage. Mine was the aluminum head version. I think some of them had the iron heads. I'm not sure about them. I still have that motor in the shop, on the stand. I am going to freshen it up and put on the TPI and put it in my '85 Trans Am.
I would vote that it is a great swap.

A buddy of mine had an 85 Corvette when I was growing up and the stock motor was kind of a dog. At some point his dad rebuilt the motor with some better heads and a mild cam and it was a completely different car. Went from "this is kind of fun" to "holy crap, we're going to need new tires after this"
