Got my new rear springs and shocks in - was going to start on the fronts even though whatever planet I'm on is about a mile from the sun at the moment. Noticed my sway bar bushings are 35yrs old and shot. Ordered a new set of polys - when they show and I continue on with this circus, what are the torque specs for the sway bar? In particular, the ones that attach to the spring plate. I cannot find them listed anywhere. This on an 85 - in the event that matters.

Thanks fellas.

On a side note.....stupid question: did these trucks ever have a rear sway bar? Was just wunnerin.

Those bolts are rather forgiving. I have always just run them in with an impact and gave them a couple quick 'ugga uggas'. Really, anything between 75 and 150 lbs will be fine. Actual spec is not important here, imho.
