When your on advance adapters site, be carefull. They'll sell you a "kit" that you don't need when you only need the adapter.

In a scenario, I only needed the adapter but a search only showed the $600 kit......while the adapter I needed was only $110

Sorry for the late response. I'm clueless on how to identify the transfer case. I'll take some pictures and do more research to get the right parts ordered. I called off road designs out of Colorado and they gave me some pointers on what to look for to identify the type of transfer case I have in my truck. I'll keep you posted
Thanks Camar068

It would be VERY unlikely for your K10 to have a TH400. If it does, everything becomes MUCH easier. Yes, you can retain the stock trans, but you'll need to find a solution for the kickdown cable.

You are going to be doubling the power output through the trans and transfer case with a 6.0l over the stock engine. A TH350/NP203 isn't exactly known for power handling and reliability to begin with. They would probably be fine with a rebuild with power handling upgrades as long as you aren't running big tires.
Thanks, I just noticed the TH350 has lot of oil leaks and I don't want to fix it. I'll install the 4L80. Thanks for your feedback on the TH350!!!

David you are absolutely right. Thanks for the heads up, I called Off road Designs out of Rifle Co. and I'll get the pictures and may be you guys can see them and help me identify it. I'll post some pictures later. Thanks again.

feel free to give them a call and ask for tech support and tell them what you got and what you want to do. They were very knowledgeable....just make sure you know everything about your situation (transmission/transfer case) before you call. They know their stuff but I got the feeling they weren't gonna waste their time ID'ing your transmission/transfercase over the phone.....and I don't blame them at the tech support level.
