I'm hoping this motor is good. I have a couple other projects to but i would like a 383 for sure. I have a 53 chevy truck I'm going to start on after the 84 the 53 has a 327 and in pretty good condition. Then rebuild the motor on my old bike. My 84 is going to be my daily driver

Make sure you get a pump that is designed to draw. A Holley red pump is not one and it won’t last, they are pusher pumps.

I got a edelbrock I haven't ever been a big fan of Holley. I know they have good parts but I have always had bad luck with anything I've had from them

Oh we can’t converse any more lol jk, I’m the exact opposite. I will just leave it at that.

Haha. The one I got was cheap just to get me by for a bit. I have put a lot of money into this truck and just ready to get it on the road. I redid a lot of other things on it as well and tons of time cause I do everything myself so it's been a long time coming to drive it again. The truck was in pretty bad shape when I got it and the guy had everything rigged up on it

I know the feeling. I had mine to all but individual frame rails. It has its issues, it could be nicer, but at what length do you go with a mud truck? Lol
