Looking for a Quadrajet, electric choke, no computer control. Does not matter what it is off of (one off of a V6 or other smaller CID engine is preferable, post 1975). Condition is not super important, as long as it is complete and not locked up, I will be rebuilding it anyways.

Will be working it's way onto a 225ci Slant Six, do not want to spend a ton on one. If semi local to Saint Louis area can arrange to meet, otherwise talk shipping. Thanks.

There's a guy in Fenton,(should be near you) that lists alot of squarebody stuff on the St. Louis craigslist. He may be able to help you out.

Decided to get of my duff and go find it. Here it is in all its current glory! No extra charge for the dirt and grime and everything should loosen up nicely after a good soaking in some cleaner. It is worthless to me but maybe priceless to someone else (LMAO) so make me an offer I can't refuse if your interested!

Sorry if this is a stupid question because I do NOT know much of anything about the slant six, but are you looking for a 2-bbl or 4-bbl carb? I believe I have a 2-bbl sitting around and if you need one I would not ask much at all for it.

My 4-bbl quadrajets I just cannot part with, gotta put them all on my truck somehow :D

Also, I am planning to visit a square body friend that has a metric crap-ton of parts, so I could also ask him for you depending on what you need.

Got some go fast parts for it, clifford 6=8 intake and will be modifying a carb adapter to slap a q-jet on top, the one that I have is from a 455 olds and is a 73, so it is a little on the large side for what I want (and a non mod-quad, divorced choke)

Ill keep this one on the list, I would like to find one with an electric choke on it, But that can always be retrofitted.

Ive always been curious what "headers" sound like on a straight or slant 6.

If it is a 3 to 1 and dual pipes with no cross over they get really raspy, otherwise 3-1 and 2-1 (2 collectors and then a Y pipe) or a 6-1 style header will be more tame even if an open pipe.

This is with open headers (2 collectors) They do have a sound of their own
