Intro/1986 K10 Silverado Steering Column help.

Hey, Everybody!

My name is Jeremy and I'm from Yulee, FL. I'm brand new to the site and looking for some help. I apologize in advance if this topic has been discussed in much detail before, I'm still trying to get use to the forum.

Just picked up my 1986 k10 Silverado a few years back. Finally on my feet and have the time to give it some love. She's not perfect, but i'm excited to start the process of restoring her.

My question pertains to ordering a new steering column from a reliable source and good price. I'd like to change my current one out completely. Any websites that you guys prefer? Shopped LMC, but it seems their rich on the prices. Appreciate the help.

Looks like eBay is your best bet on price. Jegs has one for $222.

If your current column would be perfect, but it has issues....you might look at the link below. It's a bit tedious, but by the time you get done with it, you won't be afraid of it....like I was lol. Can be done in a few hours taking your time. Easier done outside of the vehicle.
