Interior Vents

I'm finally about to get the AC charged in the truck. I know they like to put it on max to keep the air recirculating.

Questions:
When it is set to max -
The vent on the outside cowl is closed, right?

The vent in the passenger kick panel is open, right?


Asking because I don't have the kick panel installed yet but I want to get the AC charged Monday (because I don't have to go to work and I know the shop is open) and won't have time to get the panel revocered and installed.

They font need any ducting to charge the ac. It's all done via line pressures and ambient temp. Is your ac factory with r134a conversion fittings and orifice tube or aftermarket?

It's aftermarket.

That makes it even easier. If compressor has a sticker it should say howmany lbs/Oz it should be charged with. If not contact the kit manufacturer and ask what the charge weight is and if they have a line pressure chart
