When i bought my chevy there was no interior in it except for seats and some crappy door panels that were a steal blue. Here is what I did last weekend

There was no dash whatsoever so we went to the junk yard and picked one up and the dash panel was cracked so I decided to rip off all the padding and make something a little different

All painted but it isn't quite dark enough to match the door panels so its getting repainted this weekend

I also painted the ugly blue door panels with some of that vinyl paint which i didn't think would work well. But they have turned out pretty darn good! I also rewrapped the little cloth piece in some black vinyl we have laying around

The dash is going to have an aluminum gauge cluster and the passenger side of the dash were the wholes are will have an aluminum piece there. Also the door panels will have aluminum trim at the top where there used to be some trim.

Once I get more done I'll post up more pics!

Nice, I like it when people do their own thing. Too many people follow the latest trends.

Coming out nice! I like the creativity and what you're doing with the door panels!

underneath all the padding is a sheet metal mold with a bunch of holes in it. I used fiberglass first to patch the holes up and then bondoed over the fiberglass since using just bondo would probably have just crack and fall apart.

Good idea there! You're right about the bondo :) I used fiberglass to fill some holes on top of my bed rail from the PO drilling holes into it for a previous tool box. It worked GREAT! :waytogo: I filled with fiberglass, followed by a thin layer for bondo then followed by a thin layer of Metal Glaze. SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH :D
