Going through my recently purchased truck. I plan on getting the carb rebuilt as the truck sat for a number of years. Before I do tho I just want your opinion on whether it's a good carb for the setup?

Truck:
1986 Chev K30 Crew Cab
Originally a 6.2 Diesel swapped with a SBC 350 4 bolt main. Stock engine. Aluminum performance intake, HEI ignition.

Carb is a Holley 80670-2
Electric choke
600cfm?

Holleys are good! I'd rebuild it and run it. It might even already be tuned to your engine too. Just don't replace it with an edelbrock lol

One of those came on my truck when I bought it. Holley says it’s a 670 CFM carb. They have been around for a long time. I still have it and will rebuild some time and use it on something.
