Ok so ya, I am looking at running military 395 tires because why not. So away with the hateraide its happening.

I have somewhere around 8-10 inches of lift. Each axle has 4" blocks, shackles are not flipped.

I am looking to replace as well it has blocks and the leaf springs are starting to go flat. I dont wanna wait till they snap.

I was thinking 12" and 2 inch body lift as the body mounts are shot, so why not replace and raise.

I called ORD and 12" lift from them was like 2500 dollars sooooooooo i figure id ask around. I honestly will drive this 90% on the road and 10% on the beach and light trails.

Oh and ORDs lift package they sent me did include cross over steering and Im sure it would be great. But they are a business and Im trying to also swap in a 4.8 and 4l80e so 2500 lift is a bit more than I wanna spend right now

I am being a bit sarcastic but ya if there is a more effective (read affordable) way to get 395 under the truck im all ears. Im very cool with heavy cutting and planned on cutting the front basicly under the grill back to the wheel well.

You're running blocks on your front axle? That's really not safe.

I wouldnt trust blocks on the. front axle at all.

In my opinion, running that much lift would require crossover steering otherwise you'd be placing a ton of stress of the frame with very steep angles and those heavy tires.

To achieve that height, a few options come to mind. A coilover conversion, custom leaf packs, drop brackets and a smaller set of leafs, or going with a smaller lift (which will require a ton of trimming). That was approximately ordered from most expensive to least.
