Im new to this site an was wondering if I can fit doors from a 1985 suburban onto my 1973 c30 crew cab. Or if from a 80's c30 will they fit on my 73.

I've always heard that the 73-76 doors were one part number and then 77-87 were a different part number.
Not quite sure why... someone once said the early doors were slightly smaller. Can someone else add what exactly the difference is?

The major difference are the inner sides of the door. Different door panels and window regulators between the two year brackets.

The older doors dont have the holes prepopped for the power windor regulators
