I bought a Chevy box, '85 body on title however k10 chassis and want to know how to tell the year, if possible, and "ton" of the chassis. Need help with a definitive way to tell. Any help would be appreciated.

K10 = six lugs
K20/30 = 8 lugs

There should be a partial VIN on the frame. The digit prior to the sequential portion (7th from the end) will indicate the assembly plant; the digit prior to that (8th from the end) will indicate model year.
