I have not heard about this swap? Normally for swaps like that, the stock caliper brackets are used, but the car axles have smaller ends than the truck housings, iirc.

For anyone out there thats ever wanted to drag race a C10 and get rid of some of the ridiculous rotating weight up front, and get light weight front wheels with a real drag race front tire on there, this for you.

A mid 80s C-10 spindles are used, 88-92 Z28 Camaro rotors 5 4 3/4 are used, with Camaro calipers.

Ohh, I see. You're talking about the front rotors. You are talking about the Camaro 1LE front brake setup. It's an expensive setup due to rarity. The rotors weigh about the same, the big difference is the aluminum PBR calipers. Adapter brackets will be needed, as even the Camaro setup from the factory was a nearly custom type setup with adapter brackets and modified spindles.

There are better and cheaper alternatives.

And the calipers have no effect on rotating mass, just the unsprung weight.

Sort of. The rotors are basically Caprice units and the calipers are very much the same as Corvette, but with different brake hose locations. Iirc.

You can use the stock C10 calipers for a 1" wide rotor. Same bearings and everything. Just changes you to the 4 3/4 bolt pattern.

Sorry. If you have 1" wide rotors now than you just need the rotors for the swap.

If you have 1 1/4 rotors than you will need a few more parts.
