Has anyone had experience with holley terminator stealth efi system?

Issue that I am having is on freeway cruising speed and I step on it the best term is it burps. It basically flutters a little then it catches up with itself and I'm gone if that makes sense.

Runs great at idle, runs great at lower cruising speed meaning say 30 mph and I step on it and it lights up the tires.

I know there are a lot of x factors any help would be appreciated.

I know there will be questions on specs of motor etc but decided to start off basic and hopefully answer the questions as they come in.

I'd say 12.5-13.5 but it sounds like you have it set right.

Are you using one of the compliant distributors with the system? Was maybe wondering if you're getting EMI in the system.

AE curve probably needs adjusting. Also look at ROC settings in the instructions.

Thanks for all that have helped.

Two things I adjusted.
1.Fuel pressure from 45 psi to 65 psi
2. WOT from 12.5 to 13.0

I can say it is way better, still needs a little more fine tuning but the issue that I had has been resolved.

If anyone needs help let me know. May be my first time with fuel injection but have had 24 years of working on square body's and have done some pretty cool modifications that I haven't seen done to date.

Have always been a holley carburetor person but the fuel injection has great throttle response.

Does that EFI have any real time monitoring capability?

I have a Quadrajet and digital wide band AFR gauge , and I can see the mixture go rich or lean under acceleration, coasting, etc. It’s not a complete solution, but watching the gauge did uncover my misadjusted throttle linkage and a few other issues.

Yes it does.

It shows it in numbers and color.

That is another good thought.

Have you seen improved gas mileage? How's start up and driveability?

Gas mileage is still unknown yet.

But for drivability and startup I would say is top notch. Starting with startup, it's nice there is no more waiting for choke and it to warm up like a carb. Drivability is instant throttle response.

Any more questions let me know.

This, Acceleration enrichment is probably too high. Drop it a little in the area it stumbles an see how that helps

If you haven't driven it much I'd get the base table dialed in better before changing the modifiers. If the base table is also to rich the problem could go away as the base is corrected.

Hey there, can you give us an update on how it's doing for you? Did you ever check on how the mileage is doing and performance issues?

Haven't checked fuel economy yet due to I am in the middle of taking out my automatic transmission and adding a manual transmission.
For driveability all I can say is I am very happy with it.
As far as I am concerned no more carburetors for me.
I have been a huge fan of carburetors for years because of the simplicity.
For longevity we will see how long before I have issues, none yet but I am always interested to see how long it will last before there are issues.
