i'm all most ready to order a custom rear for my 77 pro street stepside
running 33x19.5x15 M/T pro sportsmen for now have my I on some 21.5 rad. tires

it will be behind a 6.0 w/turbo and a 4l80e ( trans is being built for 800+ hp )
this is my first boosted motor so have a lot to learn any ideas on what hp . will be mild build running about 10 - 12 lbs ????

Anyone have a good shop that I can talk to for a rear ????

thinking I will need to go with :
35 spline
eaton truetrac or Detroit locker ??? any thoughts ???
3.89 , 4.11 , 4.29 gear ????
disk brake setup

I dont know much about the boost question but if you look at a gear ratio vs. speed chart/graph you can easily pick your desired gear ratio.

My guess with 33in tires and overdrive trans you will probly be able to go somewhere between 4.11 and 4.56.

yea 4.11 or 4.28 I'm thinking ( 4.28 )
the 11 is like 2200 at 70 I think it was .
.56 is 2450 at 70



wanted to use a truetrac but when you step up to a 35 spline they get pricey, that's why i'm thinking a locker. about 400 less
