I'm glad I found this forum. What an incredible resource for these cool trucks. I just bought a '76 short wheel base from Nevada. The only rust is on the passenger side floor. Solid truck otherwise. I'm starting to sort it out and figure out what it needs ( a ton.) I'll start with the inside first,and maybe get it painted down the road. First project: all new door weatherstripping and vent seals. Then onto about a million other things.

Yes it does. It has 2 fuel doors but only one tank! Bed is solid though. I'm finding a few things that were swapped out from a newer truck (interior door panels, vent windows, side marker lights so far.) The same guy owned it for 39 years and unfortunately is no longer with us. Thankfully he didn't mess with the wiring much so that's a good thing.
