Scratch that, how about tbi heads? Looking for something cheap that'll support a 450 cam
Cheap - tpi heads, they have the smaller combustion chambers, right bolt pattern and will make more power but are still low performance compared to aftermarket.
Vortecs - will require a different intake, and possibly some engineering to get to work with brackets and such, plus dont have an exhaust crossover so they can be trouble some in cold weather if you will be driving it then. Also they arent much cheaper than aftermarket after being checked for cracks, valve job and spring clearance.
Double hump heads - by the time you spend the money buying them and having a machine shop get them ready and check you are in the same range as vortecs and the vortec make more power.
L98/alum113/zz4 - have a 58 cc combustion chamber, have a traditional bolt pattern and can be found cheap.
Stop by local machine shops see if they have any that were dropped off but never picked up. For a 350 id be looking for 64 cc combustion chamber, 180cc heads.
