I just wished I would have seen this on sale before spending the 50 bucks on the bead breaker tool.

that bar is meant to mount the tire differently, stick the other hooked lik eend in the tire and hook the rim and work it around not pry it on.

it works though I've had to do some 14's that way, pry them on instead of work it around.

I've also just thrown some 16's and such on by walking them down on the ground and not use it.

I tried using the hooked end of the bar to roll the bead back on. It keeps rolling out of the joint no matter how hard I try to keep it pushed down and straight, and it scrapes the rim up. It also seems to pull too much tire away from the rim making it more difficult and straining the bead IMO. I prefer to just cinch it on the old way.

I got the HF tire bubble balancer on the way, should have it tomorrow. I broke all my tires down yesterday and vacuumed the balancing beads out of them. They don't work.

I want the bubble balancer myself.

yea I had the same problem as you with the bar and did the exact same as you, they say to use some vice grips to lock on and hold it but I just pryd mine on like you did worked greaT.

I was thinking about welding a looped handle on that end to keep it from twisting and popping out.

The bubble balancer showed up today. I can't wait to try it out. Need to get some weights. I ordered some form them but they are shipping from friggin Cali.

I got a box of 1/4 oz stick on weights from a local parts store last night. I'll be breaking the tire balancer in tomorrow after work.

I read the reviews above on the tire changer and decided to check it out. I went up there to the store today to look at it. They had it marked down to $21. It also had a discontinued sign on it. I would have bought one but they were out. They told me to come back next week. OK, so I guess I wait.....

I wanted to figure out where to get some weights at myself if I went to get the balancer.

I don't think the stick ones would stay but then again I've flung off the hammer on ones off my 88, every single one of them came loose and several flew off before we knew it.
