Picked up this 92 gmc a while back, needs head gaskets. I got the motor pulled yesterday, I'll tear into it this week and see if its worth saving.

Get a better set of heads for it while you are in there.
The heads on these engines are terrible at best.
My 1995 Suburban has the same set and if I have to get into the engine for any reason, they are getting replaced with just about anything else but another set of those.

Possibly but I don't think it will sell.
I'm waiting on all my gaskets, cam retainer plate, and cylinder heads, so I'm most likely going to be putting it back together.

I keep seeing good looking gmts around here with bad trannys. Unfortunately, I’m looking for a 70s-80s wagon or 4 door atm.
