Hey everybody, it's been a while!! Wanting to say hey and I got me a new pad, (well, new to me).. and my wife is due next month..... my new baby-girl is almost here!!!

I recently acquired a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 127k, for the right price of a couch swap from my wife's uncle.

It was pretty much handed to us with a list of a few things that needed fixing: Pass door issues, water pump, 2 tensioner pulley bearings, serpentine belt, and it's gonna need a radiator..but Bars Leak helped with that for temporary. Not a bad deal, I say

It's a straight 6, 4.0 liter, that runs like a clock!..

Sooo, with that being shared, I'm finally going to park my Goldie in the back yard for nice Sunday's and a slow interior re-haul... upholstery, new gauges, weather strip..etc etc.. and finally a new paint job!

I'll post some pix of my new toy (removed the bug shield and bumper stickers) and I'll keep you all posted on the upgrades of my square

-CaliDude

Yeah, CaliDude, you've gotta do better with your wording! You about gave me a heart attack when I read "put to rest"! Congrats on the new DD, pad, and (again) baby. What are your plans for the interior? Going back stock-ish?

LOL ... sorry everybody.!! :roflbow:

Didn't realize the wording.. wonder if I can change the Title??

No Goldie isn't dead, she's not going to be my D.D. anymore.
My new pad has a nice cozy carport in the back yard.. just for her ;)

Yup, basically all stock. I'm not much into customizing my rides too much. I'm more of a "less is more" type dude.

I like squares that are stock and clean.. lowered some, and simple stock interiors. I'm going to replace all the guages, new circuit board, with bulbs.. new carpet, kick panels, and door panels with carpeted bottoms. Last but not least... new covered seat. New paint (same color) outside is gonna finish it up to how I want it.

Maybe a set of Boss 18" 338's, or something real similar. I'll keep the painted rally's too.

Hopefully my daughter will like it, because I plan on handing it to her, if she wants it... or maybe if I have some son's down the road, that'll enjoy it

It might look cool like this if he would bag it and lay frame. Photoshop anyone?
