I use green LED's for the lighting. It gives a vintage glow that reminds me of our 69 Belair when I was a child. Those were simpler, happier times.
Dad was career military, and as the years went by the stress of modern life, inflation, and what not life became not so simple or happy.
Anyways, enough of an old farts ramblings.
If any of you have a favorite color, sound, or whatever post it up.

I stuck with the super bright leds in just plain old white. Super easy on the eyes, and compared to the old factory bulbs it was like holding a lighter up the speedometer.

The sound of an sm420 transmission, the smell of an old 1956 Chevy cabin area. No insight on LEDs, I'm an incandescent guy

I put in the blue LED's. They weren't much brighter than the old clear incandescent ones. I may try the white LED's. I could dig the green vibe. I've never been a fan of the red. It seems the old Japanese cars had red back in the 80's.

If your led's don't work the first time rotate them. They're still diodes and only flow current in one direction.

I like blue also. It has a calming effect. Didn't realize it until I got a new company truck (semi) when I was younger.
The green just has a vintage vibe I like.
