Ft. Worth TX. First post. On the hunt

Hey All, I have always had a passion for motorsports as long as I can remember. When I was a kid and my dad would take me deer hunting, the farmer who owned the property had a black scottsdale 2wd long bed with mud tires on it and he would go through the fields and when he stomped on that thing I remember loving to hear that 350 roar. Grew up going to mud bogs, motocross races, drag strips etc. I think that's about the time I got hooked. I've had many different vehicles over the years and most of them recently have been Fords, but I got back into the Chevy game last year. I now daily drive a mocha steel metallic 2013 Silverado Z71 w/ a level kit and all terrain tires. Tough looking and nice driving and riding truck. My baby is a 2003 sonic blue Cobra with all the goodies. Puts out 20lbs of boost on E85. Never been on a dyno with E85 and 20lbs but on 93 and 17lbs it did 604/551. Anyways I'm on the hunt for a TX or southern short bed truck. I plan on putting an LQ4 in it and eventually a whole new rotating assembly and a turbo. I have more ideas than money at this point but I could start if I found a good deal on a truck. Until then I'll be lurking and posting here and there.
