So.....i just swapped outbthe radiator and fans on my frankenstine Burban.

The radiator is out of an 02 3500. Has plastic tanks, and the spout sticks up to high so the hood contacts the rad cap.....just barely.

Any good threads on modifying your hood? Could I just beat it with my adjustable crescent hammer till it fits?

Thanks in advance.

Lol @ adjustable crescent hammer.

Either beat it or cut it until it fits. There's really no good option besides changing the radiator out. An aftermarket fiberglass hood may have more clearance there.

I cut it. I'll dress it up tonight. Clears with room now.

Nice!
I was hoping I wasn’t going to see a hole in the hood with a rad cap sticking out. I mean it might have been cool if it was in the center. Like a functional hood ornament...
