Can someone tell me if the 73-87 C10 frame width is wider or the same as a 67-72 C10?

Off the top of my head I wouldn't know. I can get you 79k10 vs 70c10 measurements by next week if no one else can by then. I only have a c30 square, which would be different.

The frames should be the same between c10 and k10, if I'm not mistaken.

the width should be the same for C/K10,20,30. The C/K30 has a taller frame but is the same width I believe. The cab and chassis ones are narrower in the rear I believe though.

I do have a cab and chassis truck. I figured the same, as all the cabs will bolt on and what not, but just wanted to get two equal examples.

Please tell me what you've got going on. Because I've been contemplating 70 c body on 75 k chassis

@custodian I'm really curious what sparked the original question. What is the goal? Various frame related swaps have been done with both of those truck generations.

I asked about this swap a couple months ago, didn't get a single response.I'd rather learn from someone else's mistakes so I avoid some of the pitfalls if I do this. I just happen to have the parts laying around, so thought it might make a cool truck. I by dumb luck ended up with a complete drivable square but the entire body and glass are gone. Someone bought it to strip for their rusty truck. So complete driveable cab no doors no glass no instruments just a bare cab with seats. And I have a 70 been sitting at least 30 years no engine, no transmission wheels won't turn. So it kinda makes sense to me.

I mean, the answers depend heavily on the goal. Like the 2wd front suspension and crossmember supposedly swaps from new to old with some hole drilling. Rear bumper brackets and hitches should swap around, maybe with some hole drilling too. But for full body swaps, it's been done a bunch. I've not done it, but I've seen many '67-'72 trucks swapped to 4 wheel drive, utilizing a '73-'87 frame and running gear. I'm pretty sure the body mounts are in the correct location for standard cab trucks, but there's a height difference maybe? At any rate, it's been done, but I'm sure there's oodles of minor annoyances to deal with.

My goal is 70c body on 75 k frame if it sits a little higher than stock thats fine.Didnt figure it would be too big of deal. I've got a gantry crane, Mig, stick, oxy acetylene, a plasma cutter and a chop saw. Done plenty of other stupider stuff.Still wanted to hear some ups and downs from those that have gone before me.

I don't understand your post.

My mistake. I misread your post. I thought you were putting a cab on a K5 Frame which is popular in the offroad world as it makes a nice short wheelbase truck called a Trazer. I now realize it is a Cab swap onto a '75 K Frame, I read it as K5.
