I'd be willing to meet someone at a reasonable distance if there is anyone interested on this forum. I really want it to go to a good home. It'll end up on Craigslist soon so let me know if you're interested

**Please PM me if any addition info is needed**

For sale is a 2002 Chevrolet Impala one owner and lady driven(belongs to my mom)

Impeccable shape with almost every option available. This car was bought brand new in 2001 by my mom who has been the sole driver of the car since new. During that time she's spared no expense keeping the car maintained and she has the records and receipts to prove it. Never been wrecked or smoked in! This car would make a perfect commuter car or first car for someone. Extremely reliable and gets fantastic gas mileage.

Options include (but no limited to): CD, Cassette, Sunroof, COLD A/C, Hot Heat, Leather, Spoiler, Alloy wheels,....

The pictures speak for themselves but the car is even nicer than the picture portray. This car barely even has a door ding on it. The Car does have 172k adult lady driven miles on it. By driving it and not knowing the mileage you'd think it had more like 70k miles on it. The only reason she's selling it is because she's getting ready to retire and bought herself a new Impala as a retirement gift.

Clean and clear title in hand. Asking $4000 obo.

Those are great cars! My dad ran one to about 200k. Accident took it down, but up until then it was a fantastic car! Very nice riding and driving cars. GLWS

Ahh man...this would be perfect for my mom. She's been looking for an Impala like this, but now she's getting divorced so she probably won't be able to get one for a while. Bummer.

Good luck with the sale though.

Yep. That would be a great daily driver, it's even black.

Yeah, this car has been a GREAT car for her since 2001. She's only selling it because she's about to retire and got a new Impala as a retirement gift for herself otherwise she'd keep on driving it. Runs flawlessly and she's kept on top of all repairs over the years (with receipts to prove it). I hope it goes to a good home. :)

Well, mention it to her and let me know what she says. I'm not sure where Benoit, KS is but if she's interested I'd be willing to meet you half way between KC, Mo and where you're at. It'd make a great, reliable DD and gets good gas mileage.

Honestly, I was thinking when I sell the house I need a commute mpg car for getting back and forth to Dr's and trips to AZ to be looking at housing, meeting with Dr's, friends and BS to decide if and when to move to AZ. I don't want to spend a fortune and don't want a car payment. I was thinking of a 2001-2003 Grand Prix GT with 3.8 or Impala with 3.8 preferably LS. I know that one is LS and 3.8. I almost thought about going ricer for real good mpg. We'll see how things pan out. I'll sure keep it in mind.

Keeping this in mind, too, though my wife thinks I'm crazy. My car is paid off and Carmax will give me 8k or so for it. I'd sure love to stick 4k in the bank in preparation for my daughter-to-be and still have a nice DD. My wife thinks I will miss driving a manual too much though, so she's not too hip on it.

You can always put a manual in one of the squares.

Well let me know, man :waytogo: I'd be willing to meet you half way as well which would probably be somewhere in Oklahoma I'm guessing. I'm not exaggerating when I say this car is top notch. The tires may need replacement in about 20k miles but that's the only thing that we know of for sure. With the car comes about an inch or 2 thick worth of maintenance records :D

Anyway, I listed her tonight on CL

That's vehicle 2 on the list. So when the house sells, I guess I need to first buy the Impala, throw a trans in the truck, go to Nor Cal, install it in Jims Burb, then rent to a tow dolly and tow the Impala home. What a trip that would be.
