Hello from Australia. I need new carpet for me 77 C10. The only company that has the correct color, only does from 82 onward. Can anyone clarify the differences between the 73-81, and the 82 onward carpet / floor pan?

I'm not 100% positive in which cases it applied, but I know the high hump cabs had a different rear tunnel suction from 73-80' vs 81'-87'.

You can see the difference here (73-80' rear tunnel section laid on a low hump 81'-87' tunnel):

Here is a 73-80' high hump tunnel laid on the front section of a low hump 81'-87' tunnel.

I know the seat brackets are different, not sure if the corresponding floors are. 73-80 bend down at the front, 81-on are flat.
